Web guiding systems are to control the lateral wander of moving web, in various web-processing machines. FUNCTION : Web guiding system consists of two parts 1. Power unit 2. Actuator assembly Pneumatic Hydraulic components are main constituents of web by guiding systems. Their dual function is to sense the web through pneumatic signal and to move the actuating assembly by hydraulic cylinder through pressurized oil-flow. The movement of the cylinder is proportional to the pneumatic signal.
